Cowboys
The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys are the FNQ heroes of sport. Reaching from Townsville all the way north to the Torres Strait, they have a huge supporter base found throughout North QLD. Toyota Australia are proud sponsors of the Cowboys, and Pacific Toyota are also proud to continue to support our Northern heroes.

Northern Pride
The Northern Pride is the only 100% community owned state league sporting franchise in North Queensland. Based in Cairns and representing Far North Queensland, the northern Pride played its first game in 2008. The club was created and exists today to provide a pathway for talented Far North Queenslanders to develop as athletes and individuals through the pursuit of elite sports participation.
The Club competes in the NRL Championship and QLD Rugby League Competitions and delivers a 260 person academy program based in Cairns, with campuses in Mt Isa, Weipa, Cooktown and Thursday Island.

The Cairns Festival & Cairns Children's Festival
Cairns Festival was founded by the Cairns Regional Council on 26 May, 1961 with the highlight event being the grand opening of a new jetty on Green Island. This was the same time that the first annual Cairns Tourist Festival was established.
Regional Queensland's most significant and fastest growing community event, Cairns Festival has come a long way since then.
The overriding vision has been to deliver a bright, bold and challenging program spanning visual and performing arts, culture and entertainment while showcasing the city's key cultural precincts, nurturing local talent and driving tourism.
Cairns Festival have returned to its roots, with a focus on engaging the local community and promoting Cairns and region artists and performers.

Stratford Dolphins FC
Stratford Dolphins Football Club (SDFC) is one of the proudest, professional, and respected clubs in the FNQ football league, as well as the most successful in terms of premierships won.
As one of the oldest clubs in the Cairns region, Stratford has been partaking in the local football (soccer) league since 1963, and recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.
Stratford has strong ties with the local community and values fair play football as well as respect for the game, players, officials, and spectators. Since 2015, Stratford Dolphins have been supporting charities such as Cancer Council Queensland, McDonalds House, Pink Ribbon as well sending kits and soccer balls to football clubs in Nepal and PNG. SDFC also sponsors the Children Police Safety hand book which is provided to all primary schools within Cairns Region.
SDFC has a hardworking committee to ensure the club is always moving forward.

Port Douglas Grand Fondo
The Port Douglas Gran Fondo Festival is one of Far North Queensland’s most iconic sporting events, offering participants the unique opportunity to ride along the Great Barrier Reef Drive between Port Douglas and Palm Cove — completely closed to traffic. The festival celebrates fitness, community, and the natural beauty of the region.
As a proud major sponsor and the official vehicle supplier, Pacific Toyota is committed to supporting this world-class event and the people who make it possible. Our Toyota vehicles play a vital role in assisting event logistics, ensuring a safe and smooth experience for riders, runners, and volunteers across the weekend.
A highlight of the festival is the RUN PORT DOUGLAS series, held on Saturday, 13 September 2025. This event features a Half Marathon, the Pacific Toyota 10km Run, a 5km Run, and a 2km Run/Walk, all finishing on the beautiful Four Mile Beach.

Scorchers Netball
The Scorchers Netball Club was founded in 2013 by Grace Browning to create a united, respectful, and inclusive space for players and volunteers. With strong community roots and steady growth, the club proudly celebrates 12 years in 2025. Pacific Toyota has proudly supported Scorchers since 2017. One club, one family, united—the fire still burns strong. 🔥

AFL Cape York House
AFL Cape York House Foundation is a grassroots charity working to improve education and employment outcomes for First Nations young people.
The Foundation supports the groundbreaking work of AFL Cape York House in closing the Indigenous education gap with its award-winning Model of Care that supports young people to complete their education in a safe, culturally appropriate, ‘home away from home’ boarding environment.
FNQ Hospital Foundation
Cairns FNQ Hospital Foundation is a dedicated non-profit, charitable organisation committed to supporting health care across Far North Queensland. The Foundation raises vital funds to directly benefit the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, which collectively serve nearly 285,000 people from Tully to the Torres Strait.
At its core, the Foundation aims to improve the quality and accessibility of health care throughout the region. From mums and bubs to veterans and everyone in between, the goal is to ensure all Far North Queenslanders have access to a full range of high-quality services—right here at home.
Support extends across critical areas including women’s health, mental well-being, cardiac care, paediatrics, cancer treatment, and more.

Southern Suburbs Football
Southern Suburbs Rugby League Club is a proud foundation club that has been providing rugby league opportunities in Cairns’ southern corridor for over 75 years. Entirely volunteer-run, the club is deeply community-focused, creating pathways for local men and women to be part of the game—both on and off the field.

Marlin Coast Rangers Football
Marlin Coast Rangers Football Club is located at Trinity Beach. Club football with teams from small Juniors all the way to seniors, with over 450 members and players. Largest Football fields in Cairns.

Bentley Park College
Bentley Park College is a state school located in southern Cairns, offering students a complete education from Prep to Year 12. The college provides a supportive and inspiring environment that fosters excellence across Academia, Citizenship, The Arts, Technology, and Sport.

School Savvy
School Savvy is a Centacare FNQ initiative which facilitates access to school uniforms and school supplies for children in families struggling financially in the busy back to school period at the start of the school year. The initiative was created in 2016 with the first-ever School Savvy Appeal launched as part of Anti-Poverty Week 2016. The appeal called for donations of pre-loved stationery supplies and school uniforms for a pop-up shop which was opened in early January 2017.
